A call can be auto-forwarded to another extension using the Call Features option in the GXP16xx.


To auto-forward a call to another DID, the *72* shortcut key can be used.



1.) Click on the menu / circle button as shown below.

 



2.) Select "Phone" by pressing the arrow down button





3.) Select "Call Features"




4.)  "Account 1" and the current extension will be displayed. Click the menu button again to select.




5.) You can choose from the following options by clicking on the menu button.

  • Fwd All - All calls will be automatically forwarded to the selected extension.
  • Fwd Busy - When you are engaged, calls will be automatically forwarded to the selected extension.
  • Fwd No Answer - When you are away from your desk, calls will be automatically forwarded to the intended extension. When choosing this option, you will also be asked to set the timeout. The timeout is how many seconds to ring on your phone before transferring the call to the selected extension.





7.) Input the extension to which the call will be transferred. Press the "OK" softkey to confirm.
