There are 3 ways to auto-forward an incoming call from your extension to another extension or DID.
- First, by setting up Permanent Forwarding on your Velox Dashboard. This setting always forwards all incoming call to a Velox DID to another DID. Permanent forward is set at a DID-level and not at an extension level. This setting can be enabled or disabled through your Velox Dashboard even if you do not have access to any physical phones.
- Second, by using the Call Features on your Grandstream phone. This setting allows any user the flexibility forwards any incoming call to another extension if they are unable or away from their desk. This option allows user to choose to forward all calls, forward only when busy or forward only when unanswered. This option can only be enabled or disabled through your Grandstream phone.
- Third, by using the *72* key on your Grandstream phone to set temporary forwarding. This is a shortcut key on your Grandstream phone to set temporary forwarding to another extension or DID.
To enable forwarding to another extension, press *72* then the extension number. Then press the Call Button.
For example to forward to a colleague's extension 2000, dial *72*2000
To enable forwarding to another DID, press *72* then the country code, area code (if applicable) and telephone number. Then press the Call Button.
For example to forward to another Singapore number, dial *72*6568175600

To disable the call forward, dial *73*
