The Velox Softphone app supports macOS. 


  1. Click on the installer link provided. Please reach out to your Velox Account Manager or email support@myvelox.com for the installer link. This downloads a DMG file in your Downloads folder.
  2. Go to your Downloads folder and click on the Velox_Phone_<version>.dmg file. 
  3. This will open up the installer window. 
  4. Simply drag the Velox app icon to the Applications shortcut as shown.
  5. The Velox app will be copied to your Applications folder.
  6. Go to your Applications folder and click on the Velox Phone icon. 
  7. Log into the Velox Softphone app using your Velox user credentials. The Softphone will register and should be ready to use. 
  8. If the error below pops out, click on the OK button.
  9. Go to the System Preferences app. Click on Security & Privacy.
  10. On the bottom section of the General tab, click on the Open Anyway button to trust the source.
  11. Click on Open on the next window that pops-out.
  12. The Velox Softphone app will open. Log in with your Velox user credentials and you are all set!!!
