Call quality in the app is largely affected by the quality of the internet connection - not only internet speed but also bandwidth. Network speed measures the transfer rate of data from a source system to a destination system. Network bandwidth is the amount of data that can be transferred per second (“the size of the pipe”).
There is an indicator of the quality of the connection on the top left portion of the app screen during an active call. The signal indicator will either be Good, Fair or Poor.
- Clear up your device. Remove any unnecessary files and clear your caches.
- Reduce the number of devices connected to your wi-fi network. They'll all be competing for bandwidth;
- Move closer to areas where wi-fi signals are strongest or use a wired connection.
- Check your router.
- Update drivers on your connected devices.
