FORCE LOG OUT - To log out a Velox user from the Velox apps and IP phone.


Usage:

  • When a user has resigned and still has access to his apps on his personal phone, the force log out will immediately log him out of the app and resets the password so the user will no longer have access to use the app. 
  • When an IP phone is lost or misplaced, force log-out will render the IP phone unusable until it is re-provisioned with the assistance of Velox Tech Support team. 
  • When a mobile phone is lost or misplaced and Velox app is online, a force log-out immediately log out the app and will ensure that there will be no unauthorised use of the Velox apps. 



Pre-requisite: 

  • Your Velox Admin account must be tagged as Pro user.
  • If you are not yet tagged as a Pro user, please request this access from your Account Manager by emailing support@myvelox.com


How to Force Log Out: 

  1.  Navigate to the System Setup > App Management page from the side-bar menu.
  2. On the App Management page, search for the user or extension to force log out. 
  3. Click on the Force Logout button as show. 
  4. The confirmation pop-up will remind you that the force log out will immediately log out the user from all apps and devices. The app passwords will be reset and the IP phones will be deallocated immediately. Click Okay to confirm or Cancel to discontinue. 
  5. The new app credentials for the next user of this extension / apps can be retrieved from the User page of the Velox Dashboard. 
  6. If an IP phone was assigned to this User, it will be unusable until re-provisioned with the assistance of the Velox Tech Team. Please reach out to your Account Manager by emailing support@myvelox.com to re-provision the IP phone for the next user.
