Phonebook is a Velox feature that allows you to populate a central phonebook with both internal and external contacts – making it easy to keep in touch and keep on top of your business. The Phonebook will be visible in all your Velox phones and devices.
To setup your PHONEBOOK,
1. Log in to your Velox Client Dashboard (www.myvelox.com) using your Admin credentials.
2. Select System Setup then Phonebook from the sidebar.
3. This opens up the Phone Book Directory page.
4. Under the Phonebook Directory page, you can add contacts one by one by clicking on the button Add New Contact.
4.1 In the Add Contact page, you can fill in all the information. Click on Add Contact to save.
NOTE: When adding an external (non-Velox) number, always include the country code prefix. For example, 656817500.
5. You also have the option to do a bulk upload of your Contacts by clicking on Import Contacts. This allows you to upload an Excel or CSV file of your Contacts or existing Phonebook Directory.
5.1 Download the template.
5.2 After filling up the template, you can now upload or import your file.
5.3 Choose the file to upload from your computer, then click on the Submit button.
6. The Delete all Contacts button can be used if you want to delete all contact from your phonebook and start over with a new one.
7. Once you have decided and sure that you want to delete all contacts, click on OK.
8. If you want to delete one contact and not the entire directory, click on the Edit button for that particular Contact.
9. If you want to delete one contact and not the entire directory, click on the Edit button for that particular contact. On the Edit Contact page, click on Delete Contact.
10. If you would like to save changes for an existing contact, click on Save Contact after putting in your changes.
