Cost Center(s) is a feature in Velox that allows you to allocate call costs to your respective cost codes, departments, business units or even clients. First, we create a Cost Center. Then, we assign the User Extension to the Cost Center. The Call Details Reports will now include the Cost Center, so call costs can be managed and allocated accordingly. 


The Cost Center can also be used as a PIN, by dialing the "Cost Center" + "#" + "Phone Number" 

For example, 100#442081234567. 



To set up a Cost Center, 



1.    Log-in with Admin account into the Client Dashboard (www.myvelox.com)

2.    On the side-bar, click on System Setup.


                                                         


3.    Click on Cost Center(s).



4.    This displays the Cost Center summary page showing the list of Cost Center IDs and a short              description.




5.    To create a New Cost Center, click on the button. 



6.    The Cost Center ID is pre-populated by the system. Fill in a Description for the Cost Center.                Click on Create New Cost Center to 



7.    To edit the Cost Center, you just need to select the Cost Center ID and then a pop-up window will appear.


Note: Once the Cost Center has been created, you are only allowed to edit the Description and the Group, not the Cost Center ID.


8.    To delete the Cost Center, you just need to select the Cost Center ID and then a pop-up window will appear and click the Delete Cost Center button.




Note: Once you delete the Cost Center, a confirmation message will show which you need to tick the box that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions.
