This feature allows the user to select an outbound DID to display to the call recipient's side on the app without any assistance needed from the Velox Administrator. 


This feature is available on all Velox Prime apps - Windows, macOS, iOS and Android. 


Limitations:

  • The DID dropdown list will only include Velox DIDs that are allocated to you. 
  • When using an international DID from the dropdown list as outbound DID to call a Singapore number, the DID that will be displayed is your default Singapore DID. To protect the public from fraudulent calls, Singapore IMDA does not allow the use of international DIDs for calls originating and terminating in Singapore.
  • When using an international DID from the dropdown list as outbound DID to call an international number, the CLI delivery is not guaranteed as this is dependent on the local telco terminating the call in the destination country. 
  • The DID dropdown list will automatically list down all of your Velox DIDs. If you want to restrict user access to some DIDs only, the "Cost Centre" feature can be used as a tagging mechanism. You may refer to this Help article to know more about Cost Centres. In the DID page, tag the DID with a cost centre. This DID will only be visible to the Users under this cost centre. You may also refer to this Help article to associate a Cost Centres with your Velox users.




1. When launching the app, the default DID is the outbound DID setup for the user from the Client Dashboard > Users page. 




2. Click on the DID area to access the drop-down list. Select another DID.



3. Make a call with new DID selected. The caller DID that will be displayed on the call recipient's display will be the new DID selected.
