This article helps you manage the custom on-hold music for multiple DIDs.
Custom Music On-Hold
This feature allows you to play a custom message or music while a caller is on-hold to further advertise your company and products.
How it works:
- Custom music-on-hold is configured per DID.
- It supports music or custom message on .WAV file.
- When a caller reaches a DID and is put on hold by the receiver or while waiting to be transferred, the uploaded custom music or message is played on a loop.
How to setup custom on-hold music to multiple DIDs:
1. Log-in with Admin account into the Client Dashboard (www.myvelox.com)
2. The .WAV file with the custom music or message has already been uploaded. If you want to know about uploading your custom on-hold music file, click here -> System Setup: Custom Music On-hold
3. On the side-bar, click on System Setup.
4. Under System Setup, click on DID(s).
4. On the Inbound Numbers (DID Information) page, select the DID to set-up custom on-hold music for and click on the Edit button.
5. Go to the Custom Music On-Hold section. Use the drop-down menu to select the on-hold music that you have uploaded. Click the Save button to save your changes.
6. If your Custom Music On-Hold option is not available on the drop-down menu, it means you still need to upload the .WAV file. Click here for instructions -> System Setup: Custom Music On-hold.
