CALL TRANSCRIPTION is a new Velox feature that allows the transcription of a call recording into text. This technology uses AI and aims to be at least 90% accurate.




To transcribe a call to text,


1. Search for the call to be transcribed from the Call Detail Report page. 

    



2. Scroll to the right-most part of the Call Detail Report and click on the Transcribe button.

        


3.  Depending on the length of the call, the transcription may take from 0 to 15 minutes. Once completed, the text transcription will be sent to your email address.


  • If a Velox administrator is logged in, the text transcription will be sent to the log-in email address. 
  • If a Team Lead or Basic User is logged in, the text transcription will be sent to the email address assigned to the extension in the Users page.

   



4. The text transcription of the call will be sent as an attachment from email address: notif@myvelox.com.

    

    Speaker Diarization (identifying multiple speakers) is supported out of the box, we identify speakers based on the order they speak and assign them an arbitrary identifier i.e. Speaker 0, Speaker 1, Speaker2 etc…

     



5. If you need to refer to the text transcription of the call in the future, please save this email or download the file to your local hard drive. There will be no copy stored on the Velox Dashboard.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • All Velox clients as of 1st July 2024 will receive 120 minutes of free call transcription that is valid for 90 days.
  • After this first (free) 120 minutes are consumed or expired,  you may purchase a block of 600 minutes call transcription by reaching out to your Account Manager.
